Night Digs

Collect Fluorescent Minerals at Night!

 

Experience collecting on the Buckwheat Dump in the dark as you search for your own fluorescing minerals.

$18 per Adult - $16 per Child

Rocks 1-20 lbs: $4 per lb

(20 lbs or more: $8 per lb)

All Childern (3-16) must be accompanied by an adult

  1. Children must be accompanied by a paid adult at all times.

  2. Proper attire and footwear are a must; no sandals or open-toed shoes! You will be walking on rocks, up and down a steep hill, and on uneven surfaces.  Rain gear is optional; collecting is available rain or shine.

  3. Tools are not necessary or provided! There are many hand-sized pieces to be found. 

  4. CHILDREN ARE NOT PERMITTED TO USE TOOLS.

  5. If adults are using their own tools, they must be rock hammers, not claw hammers, and all parties must wear wraparound goggles, children included.
